Old language packs for thunderbird?

Hello,

there are old and incompatible language packs for mozilla-thunderbird. 
When i install mozilla-thunderbird and mozilla-thunderbird-locale-de 
from hoary i get thunderbird 1.0 and a locale for thunderbird 0.9
