Hi,

I just try the hoary array-6 installation CD on i686. I like to make some
comments about it:

1) First of all, I think I found a bug. When ubuntu installer arrived at the
final of installation and said me that "it ejects the CD" and I pressed ok,
then it ejected the CD and, immediately, unejected de CD (sorry I don't know
how to say in english that "door" of CD are in another time).

I had no time for get the CD and ubuntu rebooted my system. So I had to take
the ubuntu CD after reboot.

In the previous version of Ubuntu (2005-02-02) it did not happen.

2) The bug #6450 has desapeared in my system. But refering to the bug #6390,
it has desapeared too (now only locales download during the first stage of
installation rather than all packages in the second stage (after reboot);
good job), but I have a "related bug":

Now ubuntu unpacks and configures all the packages. So a medium user could way
very long time. Is it not possible to warn to users before reboot ("After
reboot, the installation process continues. It will install selected
packages. It could be spend several minutes", or some similar)?. That this
step were optional or to background that?

I only ask. I'm a desktop user and so I view this with the point of view of
desktop user.

3) When I rebooted my sytem and I entered in ubuntu I have in screen something
like:

"
[...]
adm: no array found in config file.............. [fail]

"

the rest of items are [ok].

4) And when I reboot my system, always, I receive the following output:

"mount /: device busy [fail]"

I don't know if (3) and (4) are bugs. For this reason, I say to you.

Well, I hope these serve to you for improve ubuntu.

Thanks in advance,
Xan.
