Enabled repositories in default install

But the point is almost everyone will enable it, and it is a big cause
of confusion for people new to Ubuntu if they can't find applications
they want to install.

Results of a quick search on the forums:
add universe sources.list: 221 threads
enable universe: 347 threads

That is why I think it is better to make it clear that a package is
not officially supported in a different way. If there would be a
notice in synaptic, you make sure the users make the choice actively
every time they install something instead of just one time when
enabling universe...
