If that isn't clear enough, suggestions to improve the language are welcome.

This is something of an oversimplification.  Universe is both potentially
broken and potentially useful.  That's more or less the point: the quality
of packages in universe can vary greatly, depending on how much attention a
particular package has received, whereas packages in main are held to a
higher standard.
