New changes from Debian require merging

Hello,

I saw in the bugzilla page a lot of packages needing merging from their debian 
friends :

I am very interested about the kodos and hplip packages, I have reported bugs 
about them, and  changes from Debian will correct the bug (not sure for 
hplip, but sure for kodos).

I have tested the various patchs :

Applying the patch gives no errors, I have checked the patch effects, no 
functions/code  seems to be duplicated.

I have built the .deb and the program/package installation are working fine.

Must I be a member of MOTU people to upload theses new builded packages ?
