Ehrm... the files have to be available from a webserver for d-i mirror
192.168.1.7 to work...

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LocalNetInstall gives good info on how to setup
such a system. I used that + the d-i manual to setup an auto-installing
Hoary cluster last week.
