AutoCAD Without Wine

I was wondering if perhaps some work could be done to some script to run AutoCAD Native in Unbuntu. The Wine Emulation does not function well. I have made several modifictions and have been able to get it to fire up but, very slow. There was a version of ACAD that was recompiled back in the early 90's, that ran pretty well on the MAC OS, of the period. I was thinking that maybe something like that could be done agin for this OS.

P.S.
I know that it AutoCAD is not a Open Source Program and maybe some permmission should be looked into first.
