Suggestions

Greeting devels,

I've just started using Ubuntu Linux and I really like it. However, I
have a few suggestions ( wish list ) :

These are things I've notice in Horay Hedgehog 5.04

- I have and HTT PIV processor and Ubuntu install -386 kernel ( no smp
support ), wouldn't it be better if the installer detects this and
installs the -686-smp kernel ?
- Before checking for DHCP wouldn't it be better to ask the user first
if he/she wants to configure network manually or via DHCP, and not first
check for DHCP and then ask the user for manual configuration.
- And also the installer does not ask you ( I am not sure about this
please correct me ) for the time server you want to use or if I want to
use NTP at all, this is because it takes some time to startup Ubuntu (
pour network connection, no network etc... )

I know all these things can be worked out after the install with only
few commands, but I think it would be better that these things are set
up by default.

Best regards,

Astrit Zhushi
