Live CD - Nautilus CD Writer issues

nautilus-cd-write does not work in live cd for obvious reason.  By
default, the temporary path is set to /tmp.  Thus nautilus will cry
about error creating image (and cannnot write to ramdisk).

only after setting the path through gconf i could create the image. ..
ever after that nautilus could not write to CD (asking to insert the
CD) ... cdrecord (console) worked great.
