1. My sound did not work out of the box, I had to select that im using
Alsa in the mixer.

2. I got a default 640x480 display because X could not work out that my
monitor has:
HorizSync    30.0 - 70.0
VertRefresh  50.0 - 160.0

I use a 3dfx 3.5 card btw.

3. The panel clock crashes every time I log out

Anyways Gnome-2.9.x seems to be faster than 2.8.x for me.
