I installed OOo 2 last night from converting the rpms from the
official site as per the instructions there to get it working on
debian - it worked fine. would there be any point in me removing them
and getting the ubuntu ones? I am currently running warty but was
previously running Hoary so its no biggy upgrading again. Am i right
in thinking that the ubuntu debs just sort out the script errors etc
that are fixed manually when installing via aliening the rpms? If tat
is the case I may just wait until the next step release enters hoary
and then change. Saying that - if I do upgrade to Hoary then Ill get
the ubuntu ones jsut to help testing .

Tom
