What I ended up using for Warty was to cut and paste the section of
the xfree86 config file created by Fedora 1 with the monitor properly
defined.  And now that I think about I have a vague recollection of
RedHat anaconda asking about resolution and frequency range during the
install.   That's probably where my proper config comes from.
