We won't be adding softwaresuspend 2. It's not supported by the kernel
maintainers, and there's little chance of it being integrated.

Could you possibly test with Hoary? There's a good deal of extra
support.

855resolution should no longer be necessary with the latest X.org
package in Hoary.

The swsusp code we use supports encrypted swap, but needs some support
adding to to the initrd-tools code to make it work. That'd be an
interesting project for someone - I'm afraid I don't have any
appropriate setups here.
