Hoary is a development distribution. That features would help lots of
people that are NEW to Linux and are not adept at configuring text
files manually.
The only way changes are made is if people make the requests and file
the bugs ... not JUST because a development team thought it was a good
idea.
He has the right to post his feelings about what could improve the
distribution when it is released or make comparisons to other operating
systems to get its importance out.
I know lots of people who are interrested in looking at Linux ... but
would turn away at things they just EXPECT to work because that is how
everything else works. For example, Windows users expect all of the
mouse buttons to work ... they take it for granted. If it doesnt just
work, it makes them think that there is just something wrong with the
distribution.
