Old Gnome menus not being fully recognised

Editing the package details by the developers is fine of debian 
packages, but what about a lot of 3rd party programs, like Crossover, 
Transgaming, a lot of games, and numerous other programs, these tend to 
do the files to work on all desktop or window managers (that maybe are 
not using the new standards), so whilst the answer maybe to get these to 
start using the f.d.o system, and a bug report should be filled to the 
relevant company, but in the meantime, we should do our best to allow 
these to still work, as they do in Warty.

 From what I can see, the attitude seems to be it's our way or the 
highway (or at least that's the impression I get).
