I tried to setup suspend to RAM and hibernation on my laptop (Fujitsu
Siemens Amilo K7600) running an up-to-date Hoary.
I followed this wiki page http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/SuspendHowto
and things go well ... I have still some trouble to investigate about my
PCMCIA network card ...
There was just a little patch to do in
https://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/acpi.tar.gz/download where we have to
change /usr/sbin/laptop_mode to /usr/sbin/laptop-mode in the script
"hibernate.sh".
I would also want to know what is the status of this wiki page ... Is it
the way it will work in Hoary or is it dedicated to Warthy.
