The "It's Just a Desktop Distro" Problem

All in all Ubuntu is ready for servers.   And I do think there is an
image problem on this as I did not know some people where already using
it for that purpose (Ubuntu.com and canonical.com).

There are some things I'd like to see though:
- Stricter file permissions on a server (my SuSE server runs with much
tighter permissions).
-  Out of the box support for LDAP/Kerberos/... (less important then
point one).
-  Inclusion of the MIT kerberos daemons in a security-tracked branch
(now in universe).
