LiveCD (Array 5) infinite loop on boot time

Funny - I had a similar experience this weekend. I tried to boot the
latest live CD on my Dad's laptop, but the boot process got stuck in an
infinite "detecting wireless networks" stage. This was a Dell (sorry, I
forget the model). Funny thing though - there was a wireless network
running and it should have found it.

I have also noticed the same problem. However I am using Array 5. NOT (live
cd). It was detecting my wireless which it always finds and works
perfectly, but this time it stuck on it for a while so I (CTL + C) to stop
from trying to do whatever it was trying to do.

NOTE: I had just installed kernel 2.6.11-686.

Ubuntu then booted into the GDM. I logged in and then it just hung and
stuck there.
I had to reboot, I then chose kernel 2.6.10-686 and it did the same thing.

I went and removed kernel 2.6.11 and rebooted again and chose kernel
2.6.10-386 and it worked, then for the heck of it rebooted again and used
kernel 2.6.10-686 and it worked. :)
