I think the problem could be the .ICEauthority file in your home dir... I had the same problem once, somehow root was the owner of my .ICEauthority file.. And when GDM cant read the file, it thinks its cause of space problem. the fix ---------------- sudo chown kkj .ICEauthority ---------- Change username "kkj" whit ur own username offcourse ;) -- Xpop
