/var/cache/apt/archives not clean

just in a couple of months i noted that i had almost 2Gb in cache,
wich i think is a bit too much (considering many users may not know
how/why that space is beeing occupied)

i would recommend one of these options:
 1 - The first time synaptic is run, ask the user if he wants
'auto-cleaning', or leave the files in cache, with a very simple
explanation of how it works.
 2 - Have the option by default to clean cache after a couple of days / weeks
 3 - Both 1 & 2 ;)
