Bookmarks in the places menu / integration

Dear devels,

I've recently added some 'bookmarks' in the places menu, and noticed
that this can only be done by adding those shortcuts in the window that
the gnome-applications use to open or save files, say in gedit.
However, Nautilus already has the bookmarks option, and those seem to be
completely unrelated. I think it makes a lot more sense to integrate
this better, so that nautilus bookmarks appear in the places menu and in
the open/save window of the gnome-applications.

I am not a developer, so I do not know what this would imply and/or how
it would work technicly, but from my user's perspective, this is the
behavior that would make the most sense for me.

What do you think?
