Should XChat default to freenode and #ubuntu?

Hi,


we have a open bug against the xchat package (#2536) that suggests to
default to freenode and #ubuntu in xchat. I would like to ask for
opinions. Should we do that? The only problem I see is that the
channel may get flooded with a lot of new users. We could also just
default to #ubuntu-newbies or something :)
