Left out modules in the netboot?

I have set up PXE and gotten the installer to boot just fine.  It grabs
extra files from an Apache server where the rest of the ISO is located.
It grabs those files and does whatever it does with them.

Then it goes to try and partition, but there are no hard drives, because
none of the ide modules were loaded.

(In expert mode it warns that these modules haven't been loaded, but
they may become available later in the install--but never do).

Shouldn't the IDE modules be included in the initrd, or grabbed from the
mirror and installed on demand?
