nessus and slib have, for the longest time, been un-upgradable in dapper.
nessus seems to want libgdchart-gd2-noxpm; apparently this makes
libgdchart-gd1-noxpm come out, which takes out python-gdchart, which
takes out (strangely) ubuntu-desktop. Nothing else from ubuntu-desktop
seems to depend on any of the removed stuff.
slib kills gnome-games; but also glame, gnucash, and guile, ultimately
killing ubuntu-desktop due to gnome-games.
Oddly, slib is not in main; but it affects gnome-games and
ubuntu-desktop. That definitely needs to be corrected; of course
there's a good 4 months left to do it in.
Fixing slib/gnome-games and libgdchart should probably take some sort of
priority here; while glame, gnucash, and guile can be handled later.
Personally, cleaning up all those would put my system back into
snapshottable order; but it's not a big deal in the scope of things at
this point. slib looks to definitely be affecting main, however.

Creative brains are a valuable, limited resource. They shouldn't be
wasted on re-inventing the wheel when there are so many fascinating
new problems waiting out there.
