Problem with Dapper and Nvidia

Ubuntu has never had a 2.4 kernel that I know of. You must have some
other stuff in your /etc/apt/sources.list file. Breezy is 2.6.12 kernel,
and has 2.6.12 kernel headers for each flavour. Dapper is 2.6.15, and it
also has the matching kernel headers.

The glx you are using is from your nvidia install. It's not part of
Ubuntu, so you wont get any help on it from here :)
Make sure your nvidia install sees the right kernel headers (the ones
you built from). That's all you can do. Since you are doing your own
kernel + nvidia driver, you wont get much help in the way of bug
reports.
