Almost two months ago, Hou Zhengpeng (Freeflying) wrote this message to
developers to invite help for the spec.

I have occasionally added my ideas to the spec as a Korean user since I
believe it will help lot of Korean Ubuntu users. And, nowadays I am watching
this prioritity issue on scim

The spec includes several topics such as Input Method, Language Selector,
FontConfig, MP3 ID3 tag, Printing, Embolden of CJK characters and a couple of
others. And, the spec is being written by three contributors including
myself.

Because of the priority issue (I don't know there are any resource and others
for delaying implementation of this spec), I suggested splitting the spec
into multiple parts to concentrate and achieve one by one from most important
one to CJK users. (We, three contributors, communicated and agreed upon this
idea.)

However, even though the spec will be splitted, I am thinking that we should
have a master plan like this spec for CJK users to not repeat same efforts
later, to see overall implementations, to set up priorities. Also thinking
the spec shouldn't be splitted by country and maybe some parts can be
transferred to the other specs like as printing roadmap.

In my opinion, a default Input method such as scim, better fontconfig for CJK
users and enabling embolden properly with patches should be focused for first
implementation to Dapper. And, I love to listen any idea about this and you
can add your idea to the spec, too.

I am inviting your help for the spec after all so any suggestion, comments and
help are welcome, Ubuntero. Please make this spec as yours.

rgds,
Atie
