Sadly, it's a bit of an issue when laptops ship with them and people
expect them to work. For irritating patent reasons we end up with some
borderline illegal drivers (and some quite obviously illegal drivers),
and the whole situation is painful and miserable but we have to do the
best we can (except for the illegal bit, obviously)
