Compressing packages with bzip2 instead gzip?

Why you don't write a spec for that? (in wiki or in launchpad)

I think 
that your idea is the best I saw in this topic for determining the 
"best" (best compression and fast compression/decompression) compress 
program: 
with some files, 7z is the best, with others is bzip, ....

This idea is useful for bandwith savings and for CD space saving (in 
one CD of 
dapper we could add more programs than in breezy; at least 
more languages 
packs)
