Sylpheed-Claws packages are broken

Hi,
I don't know if universe is still, as planned, feature-frozen for
Dapper, but if this is the case, I'd like the sylpheed-claws,
sylpheed-claws-gtk2 and related packages removed from the archive, for
the following reasons:
a) There are three local buffer overflows in the versions you ship, all
corrected almost one month ago in Debian, and for which I went through
the hassles of creating and sending debdiffs to Lathiat, in order to
backport the fix, as much as I'd have preferred shipping a new upstream
version. Said fixes, sent one week and a half ago, still didn't land in
Breezy.
b) The two versions you ship are subject to numerous problems; first
there's the old GTK1 version, packaged as sylpheed-claws, which is
totally unmaintained; then there's the gtk2 version, packaged as
sylpheed-claws-gtk2, which is at 1.9.14 in Universe, whereas we're now
at 1.9.100. Since 1.9.14, the focus is put on stabilisation as we're
reaching 2.0. The bugfixes since this 1.9.14, dating back to september,
are numerous, including crashers fixes, symbol clashes fixes when
libetpan, one of our dependancies, was compiled against gnutls-openssl
whereas we use openssl, memory leaks, and much more than I can actually
recall.
Ubuntu users in the know are currently using our private repository at
http://claws.sylpheed.org/ubuntu/breezy , but most of them just use
the Universe repo and then wonder about stuff fixed since ages.
So, please, either update them, or remove them. I'm willing to build
packages for Dapper if necessary.
Thanks,
