STOOOP ! I gave Colony #3 another chance : I installed it again, same
drive but another partition, and somehow, this time X DOES start !
Please don't ask me why :-/ I did check the CD integrity the first time.
Still, I guess data corruption can happen anytime anywhere...

So I guess you can close the bug I just opened.

Once the desktop was loaded, I still got the dreaded "XKB configuration
error", so I thought "oh no, K/B layout on French keyboards is still
broken, argh...", but somehow, despite this error message, the layout
was perfectly fine ! :-)

I did find some little problems though :

- mouse wheel doesn't work anymore

- Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts is a mess. In many places it shows
strange hex codes instead of the shortcut name. "PrintScreen" is.
assigned to the screen capture tool, but when yo press that key, nothing
happens. "Alt + PrintScreen" is impossible to assign to the "Capture
Window" action. Instead, when you press "Alt + PrintScreen", it will
capture "<Alt>Sys_Req", whatever this "Sys-Req" is... no idea.

Are these known bugs (any workaround?) or should I file them ?
