I just tried to install the amd64 version on a Compaq R4000 laptop.
The installation goes perfect, but on reboot the boot sequence stops
complaining about the root partition:



Unable to find volume group "hda2"

ALERT! /dev/hda2 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
