Usplash is now in the archive (universe at the moment, we'll shift it to 
main once it actually appears to work reasonably well). In order to use 
the package, you'll need to regenerate your initrd with mkinitramfs 
(*not* mkinitrd). Right now the only thing that'll happen is that you'll 
get a splash screen at boot. It'll vanish 15 seconds later. There's a 
couple of changes needed for mkinitramfs, and once they're done we can 
do the integration work.
