Hi,

It actually depends on your graphics hardware and which resolutions you
have enabled to be displayed by the installation. If in case your
hardware is not supported, 640x480 graphics using the VESA driver is the
"safest" and supported by most hardware out in the market.

Could you be more specific with your question so that we can be able to
give you better insights into what you are experiencing?
