Multiseat

The xorg X server seems to have issues that have not been resolved. See:

The multiseat package is a low priority item. I'm sure that Daniel and
Fabio have their hands full with xorg itself and driver issues, however
a quick note regarding status and issues would be appreciated.



I run a 2.6.0 ruby patched debian kernel and the XFree86 X server
without issues. Four seats, gnome desktops. No stability issues. It
will scale to sixteen users with separately addressable four port
graphics cards. I use modified hotplug input scripts and hand
configured keyboard and mouse configs.



I've been too busy to try it the udeb way, and as I know that xorg has
issues, I haven't bothered. It would be outstanding if this would work
in ubuntu (latest kernel, xorg 6.8.x) with standard package installs
and a little setup.
