For a lot of "old hands" it'd just break. And you wouldn't be learning
people what they're really doing. For the same reason "rm" and "mv"
aren't aliased to "rm -i" and "mv -i": people will get into trouble when
they "visit" a system without these safeguards.
The best solution is to change those tutorials to reflect the reality of
multiple systems to "get root" (su, sudo, etc.).
