Thanks Matt !
This explains it all. I now understand why I could not use the scanner
despite being by defaults in the scanner group.... it's the scanner
thaty was not in the scanenr group, not me !
It also explains why it I found it to work in Breezy yesterday but not
in Hoary... it has indeed been fixed VERY recently ! :o)
Well done.
The only thing left required to make my SCSI scanner to work "out of teh
box", is that when I install Ubuntu, it doesn't put the "sg" module
in /etc/module, so after installation, I have to edit the file by hand
before I can use the scanner.
What is responsible for this ?
Should I file a bug about his too, or is it also already fixed ? If it's
fixed, sorry for wasting BW, but since there are no Breezy install
ISO/CD yet, I can't test/know ! ;o)
