Weird mount bug

Should I bugzilla this?

I unmount a partition
I mount it again
I open the folder
I can write to like a million folders

BUT

If i open a folder with a lot of files (like my music selection),
nautilus slows right down, takes ages to bring up the file/folder
listing and then 13 seconds later when the listing appears, the drive is
suddenly in READ ONLY mode.

And when I return to the previous folders and try to create a
file/folder I get "drive is in read only mode" error.
