MD raid device (big) problem

i don't know. i didn't investigate any further, as the system was 
working well. It seemed that "/" was managed by MD, and strangely the 
swap was managed by evms at reboot after install.

yes, unfortunately...

i will boot on the hoary live, chroot, dist-upgrade and try to rebuild 
the initrd and reboot.

do you have any more advice ? I can't get to find the "definitive" 
information in the bugtraker on how to solve the problem...
