AMD64: crash on boot with smp kernel (on Linux certified system)

We'll need a copy of the panic error in order to fix the problem.  If it
fits on the screen, perhaps you can take a digital photo?  The ideal
solution is to connect a serial cable to the machine, and boot with
a serial console enabled.
