monkeytalk reactivation ?

hi,

there once was a feature called monkeytalk in ancient gnome versions
which offered a very transparent and userfriendly help by irc on first
login (was it a ximian tool ?) why not include something like that in
ubuntu,
it could be fine to get the first timers impressions at its freshest.
