How would I go about doing this? (Will give it a go.)
A few other notes while I'm here. The printer was picked up straight
away. The Ubuntu "sudo" scheme of things works quite nicely as well.
The only browser plugin that I ever have problems with, RealPlayer10,
worked first time also (using the directions on the Mozilla plugin
pages). Suspending the laptop leaves the screen a bright white for some
reason (noted also on a wiki page). I'm getting used to the gnome GUI
scheme of things (top and bottom panels) and quite like it - the help
pages at a glance seem okay, menus are straightforward, useful and not
intimidating in anyway, and the usual gnome 'pastel' shades colour
scheme and graphics plain but well done.
GSO (over from Fedora Core 2)
