Consider the use case, though. It is unlikely that new users would want to
do that. In hoary, there will be a very spiffy add/remove/update tool that
will make adding/removing/updating applications (not "packages") a *very*
easy task. When new users find that, they'll love it, but it won't be at the
top of their minds when they're installing the distro itself.
