There is some irony that this thread with mostly generalized
assertions could be considered FUD .  Smal change of wording would
have removed the FUD factor .  "Security is everyones concern" , and
the open source community is great at weeding out security issues .

If it was *strictly* true then everyone would already be using Linux ;-)
