In case anyone has questions on "endorsing" Java in the pythonic world
of Ubuntu:

1) Java and Python generally solve different problems

2) Supporting Python does not mean we cannot support or showcase other
Open Source technologies.

Though I don't personally care for Java, I think this would be good for Ubuntu.
