Avoid installing the somewhat broken snd-intel8x0m driver?

I'm for disabling this module as well. Previously, I have had to
reinstall alsa modules from source b/c I got tired of having my modem
(which I don't use) listed as a soundcard under the GNOME volume
control. There was probably an easier fix but I couldn't get the module
to blacklist using /etc/hotplu/blacklist.d/
