I didn't think this was actually a "wrapper" but just releasing the /dev/dsp
to other software after a timeout. I actually thought this was supposed to be
default behavior (notice the -as 2 was there by default) but for some reason,
this was broken by the "-d default". All this does is return to the default
behavior on Warty (which, out of the box, does give up /dev/dsp after 2 seconds)
- and I would think it would be appreciated.
I do know what the definition of "unsupported" is. However, I found this
solution independently and it seems to work pretty good. Although software may
be unsupported, that doesn't mean someone else can't submit fixes related to it
independently, right?
