Suggestions for Hoary

I dislike this idea. Many PC's these days from, like Dell, come with a
DVD and CDROM drive with black face plates and other "you don't need to
know" type stuff. I don't think the user should need to know.

It would be nice to have this information exposed in a piece of metadata
somehow attached to the CDROM icon though. Perhaps in the properties
window, or a tooltip.

Not sure how that would be implemented. ;)
