Hoary's newest ALSA version broken for me.

Dear people,

I have tried IRC and the forums, but have not been able to find, and 
fix, my problems with Alsa. These I experience since the latest update 
to alsa.
I have no sound, in any program, and it seems I am unable to get esd up. 
Alsa seems to suddenly prefer the sound chip on my tv-tuner over my 
audigy card, at least that is what I make of it.

Could anyone please help me get this back up, and perhaps even explain 
to me what is wrong?
