I wasn't talking specificly about bounties only, so I don't think
funding of thesises and projects for students is a must.

What students will definitely need is a contact for the professor, if
there are any questions concerning the project. Another thing could be
some sort of certificate or a short report (by a Canonical employee) on
what the student exactly did.
