stripped headers in mailing list archives.

Having just subscribed to the lists I like to get the past discussions
into my mail app.

A simple:
"wget -nd -c -r -l1 -A gz
http://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-users/"

downloads all the 2004-<Month>.txt.gz for the list.

to make a mbox I just gunzip and cat to one file.

It appears that most of the headers have been filtered out of these
files and so I can't filter these emails because headers like to: and
list-id: appear to be missing.


Now is this a feature and I'm doing something wrong, or is this a
problem with the list archives?
